Andrew Truscott is a Managing Director for Health and Public Service at Accenture and resides in Houston, Texas. His role includes responsibility for electronic health information management, including appropriate information technology strategy, security, digital architecture, and other related issues. He has also been responsible for the specification and design of electronic health infrastructure for multiple global programs, including security, privacy, confidentiality, and other information governance issues. Mr. Truscott previously served within the United Kingdom’s National Health Service as the Information Governance Director for the National Programme for Information Technology. He is a graduate of the University of Wales.

Kerry also works as a innovation and strategy consultant and serves on numerous Boards.

Dr. Luby received his Ph.D. in Immunology from the Sackler School of Biomedical Sciences at Tufts University. For his post-doctoral research, he shifted to the study of cancer cell genetics at Harvard School of Public Health. Tom joined Johnson and Johnson Innovation after spending 14 years in various R&D and business development positions. Nine of those years were spent working in R&D and operational roles across three start-up biotech companies. Prior to his role at TMCx, Tom served as the Head of JLabs@TMC in Houston, where he catalyzed and supported the translation of science and technology into valuable solutions for patients and consumers across the pharmaceutical, medical device and consumer healthcare sectors.

An experienced operator with a track record of pioneering health-system innovations from concept to national recognition at Kaiser Permanente and Massachusetts General Hospital, Sarah joined the investment team of Boston-based venture capital firm, Flare Capital Partners in 2018.

At Flare, a leading healthcare technology venture capital firm focused on full life-cycle investing in early stage health tech and services, Sarah is both a scout for investment opportunities and an active participant in select portfolio companies. Sarah is passionate about working with entrepreneurs to build great teams and create transformational businesses, bringing to Flare’s team both the point-of-view of an on-the-ground implementer, as well as the perspective of women in healthcare technology.
Sossong earned her master’s degree in health policy and management at the University of California at Berkeley and graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University.

Babs is all about entrepreneurship. Babs is an entrepreneur, coach, mentor, teacher and author. Currently, she is Director the Big Idea Center for the University of Pittsburgh’s Innovation Institute. Babs has given talks and taught entrepreneurship internationally and previously helped to build the entrepreneurial ecosystem at Carnegie Mellon University. As President of Carryer Consulting, Babs has worked with hundreds of companies and startups to grow their businesses, including her own startup, LaunchCyte. She is a co-founder of the Pittsburgh Chapter of Women in Bio and recipient of the P.O.W.E.R 2018 award (Pittsburgh’s Outstanding Women Entrepreneurs Rally). Babs has a Masters in Public Management from Heinz College at CMU and a BA from Mills College in CA. Babs is author of a startup murder mystery, “HD66 – search for a cure, or a killer?” Her second book, “Startup Briefs,” is everything that Babs thinks an entrepreneur needs to know.
